I have 20+ years of solid experience in the IT field for major companies (mostly around operations and application management, security and compliance, automation, databases, data collection and analysis). I believe that any technological and scientific improvement should be useful; it should not be driven by greed for money and competition, but by usefulness, reliability, safety, practicality.

I quit my high paying job as a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft in 2015 and since then I have been working on healing myself and my family: we moved on top of a hill in the Italian countryside, in an old farm house that was abandoned for a long time and needed restructuring and love. We have greatly reduced our needs and our energy consumption and made the place functional but also cheap to run, sustainable and environment-friendly. My wife runs her Naturopathy practice from there.

At the Sanctuary of Joy we can take you on a healing journey to find your inner wisdom and energy in a simple and peaceful way. We can help you to discover your passions, find your purpose and happiness, and to live your life in flow and abundance! We have a vision for a life that is self-sufficient, off-grid and in harmony with the environment and we make use of renewable/green energy, we experiment with permaculture, eco-friendly living techniques, waste reduction and recycling for creative/artistic and functional purposes, appreciation for nature and for the small important things in life. We have transformed an old farm to make it functional but sustainable and environment-friendly at the same time and to be able to host spiritual retreats, courses and other activities: a space where other families can come and take a holiday or for a work exchange with us, stay in our Mongolian Yurt or even camp in their own tent and work on themselves in peace and quiet, in the middle of nature. We also produce delicious hazelnut creams that are for sale on local farmer’s markets.
